CapCo Bio GmbH is a deep-tech spin-off of the University Medical Centre Freiburg (Extracellular Vesicles working group). The company develops innovative nanotechnological solutions to transport therapeutic nucleic acids into cells in a targeted, safe and efficient manner.

The centrepiece is the proprietary CAPSULON™ platform - a modular, polymer-based nanocapsule system that protects and releases sensitive active ingredients in a controlled manner. In this way, CapCo Bio helps to enable new and gentler molecular therapies.
