A milestone for the life sciences in the Upper Rhine region

Review of the first BioCampus Investor Day

BioCampus Investor Day

Over 200 participants gathered in Basel to celebrate a pivotal moment for our region: the very first BioCampus Upper Rhine Investor Day.

This dynamic, cross-border event brought together startups, investors, companies and public stakeholders from Switzerland, France and Germany. Together, we are pursuing one mission: to strengthen the life science ecosystem in the border triangle and connect groundbreaking ideas with the necessary capital.

The BioCampus functions as an integrated, tri-national ecosystem. The initiative combines world-class research, pioneering innovation and entrepreneurship to achieve a global impact.

As a tri-national ecosystem, the BioCampus connects key players in the region:

  • Universities & research institutions

  • Startups & young talents

  • Industry & public stakeholders

  • Investors

The aim of the initiative is to develop the Upper Rhine region into the most strategically important and dynamic hub for healthcare and life science innovations.

Behind the initiative is a powerful structure that enables collaboration across borders:

  • 3 countries (Switzerland, Germany, France)

  • 5 leading universities

  • 8 ecosystem partners

  • 1 Coordinator for cross-border cooperation
